Home for the Holidays

I came home from Las Vegas and was greeted by 30 degree weather and snow on the ground ! I wasn’t expecting that. if it was December, I might have welcomed it. I better get used to it. Time to break out the gloves and scarves. This little painting illustrates how nice it is to be home–no matter the weather.

Yes, there’s nothing cozier than being snug, warm at home–especially when there’s snow outside.

The little snow we got is still sticking around. But I think it’s supposed to get well above freezing this weekend. I’m not ready for winter yet!

Yes, it looks like it probably has a great fireplace with that chimney. I plop down in front of my gas fire quite often. That’s what gets me through the cold months.
