Fun with Gel Pens
I’m in Las Vegas for a few weeks helping out my Mom. I have a lot of down time so I have been filling up a sketchbook with doodles. Thought I would finally try out some gel pens I got for Christmas. Having fun with color. Adding words to my doodles seems to be my favorite thing lately.
Summer Quilting
Even on a cold day like today, I have to imagine that someday it will be Summer and I will no doubt be quilting. Even dreaming of Summer seems to warm me up a bit.

Spring is Coming at Last!
We had quite a bit of snow melt this last week and finally I was able to get most of my Christmas lights/decorations taken down (some were still stuck in ice). But we are supposed to be in the mid-60’s tomorrow. Woo hoo! I even went to church today without a coat! That felt so nice. I did a little painting over the weekend. I actually started this one a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t get in the mood to finish it until the weather got warmer. But now I am all for pastels and bunnies. Easter will be here before you know it!

Funny Bunny
I finished several little paintings while here in Las Vegas. I’m leaving tomorrow and will be back in quilting land soon. I’ve skipped a few seasons with this one. But I’m sure it won’t be too long before we’re all dreaming of Spring.
Spring has Sprung

Two days in the 60’s ! Spring is definitely in the air. Can’t wait for my tulips to bloom. They are just poking through the ground now. I do have some blooming crocus. This pot of flowers just makes me happy. Hope it lifts your spirit too.
