This one needed some sprucing up. Special effects via PicMonkey.
I recently finished a lovely quilt pieced by Sandy. I believe she said the pattern was by Pam Bono. It’s is quite large–about 88 x 110. It was hard to get it all in one photo. I think it is striking!I did straight line quilting in the small pieced blocks. It gives it a chevron look.Swirly “wind” quilting behind the geese seemed a good choice. The fact that there are pieced geese along with flying geese blocks was not lost on me. Quite clever!
Sandy said this is for her brother. What a beautiful bed quilt it will make.
I recently quilted this small wallhanging for my friend, Marge.
I quilted a variety of feathers, circles and straight lines to add interest.
More freehand patterns in the red.
Marge added this three-dimensional fabric flower.
Small projects that can be finished in a reasonable amount of time are fun to do.
