Well, after moving across the country and preparing for and teaching my first week of school, I’ve finally come up for air. I thought you might like to see my classroom and where those quilts went. As you can see, there is a space theme going on here.
Fabric works great for covering bulletin boards. This space themed line of fabric is from Connecting Threads.
One of the first things I teach is how to say my name. It’s easy for the kids, but still hard for the adults!
I will be joining the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge starting on Sept 1. I think this is the 5th time I have participated, so I didn’t want to miss it. I don’t know how I’ll have time, but let’s just say my “paintings” will be small and simple. I look forward to re-connecting with all my artist friends.
What a fun and engaging room you have! You definitely where born to inspire! Good luck ! By the way on a selfish note- I miss you! Sue Anna

It’s a little intimidating when you actually have to have the students learn something. I just hope we can have fun at the same time. Thanks, Sheila. See you in the 30 in 30?

Gosh, Pam you have done a lot of work. Your room looks so inviting and exciting. A fun place to learn. As far as doing the painting challenge, well you may just need that little time to relax and create. Good luck with it all and do keep us posted.

When I got to that last picture, I laughed out loud!
Your room looks great!
One the one hand, you’ll be too busy to spend so much time shopping for new fabric… On the other hand, you have a new theme to add to your fabric stash… Then again there is a new income stream… And a never-ending stream of reasons to redecorate a bulletin board…

Thanks, Robyn. You are welcome to use it. I appreciate your comment about the fabric. One of the few quilt shops here is just a few minutes away from my school. I am going to try to stay out of there!. I think I will keep this space theme for awhile.
