I thought I would throw that into the title so people would know what the “SX” was for. These are elementary classroom xylophones and they come in three sizes: Soprano, Alto and Bass. The larger the instrument bars, the deeper the sound. So Soprano is the smallest. Just an aside, Xylophones always have wooden bars. Metal barred instruments are NOT xylophones. They are instead glockenspiels, metallophones or vibraphones. Now you know much more than you wanted to!
I am having fun with the backgrounds. That’s where I try to get “loose” and go with the flow a little bit more. And I do sometimes get carried away with the titles. But I’m having fun coming up with those too!
So cute, Pam! What exactly is a Soprano Xylophone? (And I learned how to spell a new word today!)
