Memories of Summer

It’s gray and windy here today. As I look out my window, the trees are mostly bare with just a few clinging leaves. Warm sunny days seem only a memory now.

I read an blog post recently about what kind of money you are likely to make as a fabric designer. It suggested that certainly for your first collection, with all the costs involved, you’re likely to need to spend more than you will make. Pretty discouraging. But regardless, it would be very fun to have my name on a selvage. With your encouragement, I’ll keep the dream alive!
