Music is a big part of my life and always has been. I sang my first solo in church when I was just 3 years old, so music was there from the very beginning. I love singing and got my degree in voice. Today (and for most of my adult life) I am a church choir director. Choral music is probably my favorite thing to listen to–especially the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I love harmony and how all the voices come together to make something truly beautiful and inspiring. So whether you are making music or simply listening, I encourage you to surround yourself with good music. It’s one of the best things this world has to offer!
You are so interesting Pam! Something we have in common. I sang in choir in school, Even went to state, madrigals and ensemble. Most of my best memories involve the choir 🙂

Yay! Another singer! If you were around here, I’d have you join my choir. My high school didn’t have a choral program, so I was in the band. But I joined a lot of choirs at church. Singing in a choir is the best!

I wish I could be in your choir. I also sang in high school and in our family band. Love singing and love music all around me, especially when I’m painting. Love this one!!!

Artists and singing must go hand in hand. Our choir sang today in our worship service and sounded wonderful. I have a great bunch of volunteers. We sang “Beautiful Savior” with a soprano obligato on the last verse. It really brought a sweet spirit into our meeting. I love sacred music.
