What is a Yupo Pumpkin? It’s a watercolor pumpkin on Yupo paper! I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new today. Sandy Sandy another (fabulous!) artist in this challenge send me some samples of this paper that really lets the watercolor stay on the surface and facilitates blending colors. Sandy makes such wonderful paintings with this paper. Maybe I wasn’t that adventurous for my 1st attempt, but I’m still pleased with the results.

Oh, it’s good to hear your kind words, Sandy. I really have to change my style to use Yupo. I tried outlining with black perm. marker (as I usually do) but everything just smeared. And I am not very patient waiting for things to dry. But I will keep trying.
