Here’s another quilt by Georgia. Santa’s reindeer must be on vacation.
The fabrics were so busy and there were so many tiny pieces, I used invisible (clear) thread to go around all of the shapes. Then added some gold stars to the night.
Merry Whimsical Christmas!
Wonderful starry quilting! I love the chicken’s multicolored tail feathers–what a talented quilt artist–

What a festive and quirky quilt. Santa was an elf if I remember correctly. So, the perfect ride. So cute.

Quirky is right. Georgia says she likes it so much, she plans to keep it up year round.

Very nice. So much detail. Love the chicken’s expression.

Thanks, though I can’t take credit for the chicken.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I go back and forth between painting and quilting as you can see.

It is quirky, isn’t it? I hadn’t seen it before myself. Don’t know who the designer is.

I love your work! My husband and I used to quilt for others- he did the machine quilting, I did tops and binding (still do, but less) and I miss it. Now I’m an artist and photographer and make smaller, more manageable quilts.

We have a lot in common then! For myself, I also like projects I can finish quickly.
