With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s very easy to let Christmas become another commercial holiday. I like to be reminded of it’s true meaning. I love old fashioned Christmas carols. I actually direct our church choir. We are working on our Christmas Program that will include traditional favorites such as Silent Night, The Holly and the Ivy and one of my real favorites, Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel.
I couldn’t help but try to paint something that would remind me of the true reason I celebrate Christmas–to focus on the life of Jesus Christ. Hope you enjoy them.
