I’m painting some small (4″ x 4″) boards to sell at our guild’s quilt show coming up this month.
I think it looks cute on this tiny wooden easel which I plan to include.
What do you think would be a good price? I’ve never sold any of my paintings before.
I just love this…It’s so cute and would go so well with fall decor. I hope you get some feedback on the price. 🙂

$15-$20 It all depends whether you want to really sell It ,
like getting rid of it, or just (?) for fun.

Thanks. That’s really helpful. That was the price range I was thinking of, but wanted to get some feedback.

It is always good to start low….$15 to $20 would certainly be that. I thought $50…. So perhaps no lower that $25????? I think your paintings are lovely! Your quilts are super wonderful!

Thanks, Marilyn. I really appreciate your input. I guess I need to decide if I would be very disappointed if nothing sold at a higher price. I probably need to get a few sales under my belt before I’ll have confidence in pricing.

Good thinking! I will be interested in how it goes! One year, back before recorded history began, I did the Park City Art Festival with 8×10 inch Silk screen prints that I sold framed and matted for $25. I was delighted that they all sold until I discovered that I did not have enough $$$ to pay for the frames….even though I had cut the mattes myself, painted the frames, and assembled them….

I can certainly see your point! And a quilt show may not be the best venue for this sort of thing. I’ll just have to give it a try and see what kind of response I get.

Are they for sale and would you ship to the UK?

I really hadn’t thought about it yet. I have no idea how much it would cost. I guess I would if you were willing to pay shipping. I think I will price the 4″ x 4″ with mini easel for $22 US.
Do you want me to look into it? Is the “Acorn Block” (4″ by 4″) the one you are interested in?
