A Sunflower, and Crow and a Pumpkin

Day 24.  Can’t believe this challenge is almost over.  The big question is:  Will I keep on painting?   I thought I would move on from the Fall theme, but I must admit I am a sucker for anything Fall-ish.  This little painting is of some table decor I bought last year.   They are so cute I couldn’t resist painting them.  They stand about 6 inches tall and live on my piano at the moment.    When I got out my Fall decorations box a few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised to find them.  It’s often like that.  I buy something, but after putting it away for a year, I forget all about it.  So it was fun to experience the “new” find when I opened the box.  I wonder what “new” Christmas stuff I will find in a couple of months.

  1. I do too. I guess I’m getting a little frazzled coming up with something new everyday. And often I am a little dissatisfied with the results. I guess I just need to keep at it and then maybe a consistent style will emerge that I can “own”.

  2. I love your paintings! I love your style! I’m surprised to see that you feel that you don’t have a consistent style. It seems so evident in your art. That’s one thing that I keep waiting for…hoping for in my art. Love your new fall header. 🙂
