  1. So cute! Remember the smell of new crayons? I had an artist teaching my children once, and he said to tear all the paper off the crayons and break them in half! I was in shock! But his reasoning was to use them sideways on the paper. Love people who think out of the box. 🙂

    • Thanks. You know, it just started out as a picture with a couple of houses, but when I added the flag, I thought I could easily turn one house into a school. So I never really know where I will end up when I begin. Probably most artists (and quilters!) could say the same.
