Mr. Scarecrow

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love the colors.  I love pumpkins.  I love anything with an autumn flavor.  And even though it’s still officially summer, it’s September and that signals Fall to me.

Today is the beginning of the  Leslie Saeta’s 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.  I started my blog after her similar challenge in January.  Even though I’ve been painting just a year, I feel like I’ve come a long way from my first attempts just a few months ago.

Since I do love Autumn, expect to see a lot of Fall subjects in the next 30 days.  My mind is bursting with ideas.  I just hope I can keep having them for the next month.

Today’s pic is Mr. Scarecrow.  I’ve just always liked scarecrows, crows and pumpkins, so this pic was a natural.Image

  1. I find both Photoshop and Illustrator to have big learning curves, but they are well worth the effort. I imagine that for fabric design, you’d want to focus on learning Illustrator. Love your work, Pamela.
