I’m been working on a couple of interesting quilts lately. At first glance, they appear to be T-shirt quilts. But actually, they are made from jackets that actors and other participants receive for each Broadway show they are involved in. They were pieced by Lois from PA. The piecing and quilting are a little more challenging because the jackets were made out of wool or satin and are heavy. But I think they came out great. A wonderful memory.
Wow 🙂 this is quite the piece of work! It’s beautiful! Thanks for the beautiful pictures !

Thanks. I just did the quilting, but it was still pretty cool to work on these.

Good to hear from you, Susan. Hope your cat is getting better. I look forward to getting back to painting once I take care of my quilting backlog.

Hi Pam, I am a palette knife painter and started following you in January with Leslie Saeta’s 30 Day Challenge. I have always loved quilts, even bought a new machine at one point thinking I would learn to quilt but oil painting has become a full-time passion. I love seeing your quilt work and love your happy drawings/paintings too.

Thank you for following my efforts. I do love quilting. It’s my business and it keeps me very busy. I do miss my painting–but I’ll get back to it soon, I hope. You’ll have to find time to play with your machine. I’d love to mentor new quilters. By the way, is Leslie still doing another 30 day challenge in Sept? I haven’t been keeping up with her blog lately. I’ll definitely do it again and I look forward to seeing everyone’s paintings. I hope you are planning on participating also.

Thank you for looking! We quilters need to stick together. I enjoy seeing what other quilters are doing as well. It keeps all of us growing in our art.
