This is my first attempt at making fabric with Spoonflower. I used one of my watercolor pictures, Bridal Bouquet. The motifs are about 1 1/2 inches across. Next time I will send a clearer picture and get better results. But I can see many possibilities for fabric in the future.
Love it!

Thank you for mentioning this! A friend had requested my temple paintings on fabric for quilting…. Spoonflower may work!

I think so! I have been aware of Spoonflower for a couple of years but thought it would be too hard for me to figure out. It wasn’t. Now I have to work on getting a better image. Apparently, the scanner on my printer just doesn’t have the quality needed. I’ve started taking an online class to learn Adobe Illustrator. I’m hoping I can learn something that will help me translate my drawings into other projects. Mostly I want to learn how to do repeats. I also need to figure out how to get art quality prints of my artwork. Any suggestions? If you do the temple fabric, I’d love to see it. Pam

Pamela, I am attracted to your work because I too love patterns. I am sticking with oil painting and the palette knife, but I very much enjoy following your creativity!!!
