This small quilt was pieced by Kathy A. I love the batik fabrics.   I thought gold thread would compliment it nicely. I quilted an overall swirly pattern in the center and then did separate border treatments. Every thing is quilted “free hand” without any markings or computer.

Often you can see the quilting even better on the back. The solid black fabric really shows off the quilting.
